How many times have you heart that art imitates life? Well, sometimes life imitates art. The artistic movement of cubism is a very interesting and often beautiful art that uses bright colors and straight edged shapes to make amazing paintings. While some people don’t find it tasteful, many love the creative processes and the end results that squares and rectangles make.

Cube art may not look very nice on most clothes, or even handbags, but it can look great when it’s mimicked in nail art designs. You can use any colors that you want and still have a great design. Change up the colors to keep it exciting and expect lots of conversations.

First, paint your nails with bright colors in a two-tone French tip. For instance, use a bright green for the tip and a pink for the rest of the nail. Then use another bright color, such as yellow, to make a rectangle on the side. Cover parts of both the first two colors. Using another bright color, draw an outline of a large square that just runs off the side – don’t complete the square. At the top of the rectangle, make a small black square (open, don’t color it) and then add another at the bottom that goes through the big square. Add topcoat.
