Nail Art Design Ideas, Loving French

Nail Art Design Ideas, Loving French

The French tip is a very popular nail design that has been around for years. Many women love its simplicity and its beauty. It is an easy look to wear during the day or to wear for dates, special events, or even just around the house. French tips look good on any woman, and that is probably partly why they are so popular.

However, sometimes you do not want a classic French tip. You want to dress your nails up a bit more than that but you still want the classic design. There are plenty of ways to take the French tip up a step. For this design, the French tip is done in pinks and joined by a rose. It’s a great thing to wear for Valentine’s Day, or any other time you want to make a statement!

First, use pink and polish the nail then use red and make a chevron at the nail tip. Outline the chevron in gold paint. Make a rose with pink, wine, and red paints. Add green leaves and a stem. The stem should appear to be coming out of the V of the chevron. Seal the nail with two coats of topcoat.

Nail Art Design Ideas 2010, Girly French Tips

Feminine and always pretty, French tips are very popular nail designs. Nearly every woman has had her nails done in French tips at some point in her life, and they are very popular with those attending weddings or proms. French tips are also great just to have your nails look nice while you go about your daily life. They are also wonderful for someone like a stay home mother to make her feel as pretty as she can be.

While the basic French tip is a very pretty style, there are many more people who enjoy making a bigger fashion statement than the standard French tip makes. These people like brighter colors, or odd designs, and a classic French tip is simply boring to them. For these people, there is this brighter, more girly version of the French tip.

To make this lovely version of the French tip, first use pink gel to make the tip. Use another colored gel, such as a darker pink, and a striper brush to make diagonal stripes through the pink. Using the striper brush, drag through the gel. Go in the opposite direction, over the stripes. This makes a lovely, frilly design and is a great variation of the classic French tip.
