Flames are great in nail art because they are fairly easy to do and always are gorgeous. While they will not suit every situation or outfit, flames are great for those times when you want to make a statement that you’re hot and a strong woman. You can change the colors if you want – make the flames red on black for instance, or even purple flames – but this design is tried and true, and looks great on any woman.

First, paint the nails with a red matte polish. Use a striping brush loaded with yellow (bright yellow, preferably) and start from the free edge of the nail. Make several strokes in an S shape. Make them of different lengths. Next, use orange paint and do the same thing, overlapping the yellow flames. Put sealer on the free edge only and then sprinkle the nail with glitter. Add topcoat to keep it looking great.
